New Mexico Alliance for Legal Reform (NMALR) is a non-profit grassroots public interest organization dedicated to promoting integrity and fairness in the New Mexico legal system. We are Republicans, Democrats, and Independents. We are the citizens of New Mexico who want a better future for ourselves and our children.

Our Mission:

To promote fairness and integrity in the New Mexico legal system.

Our Goals:

  • To raise awareness of the impact the legal system has on the quality of life in New Mexico.

  • To restore the public's faith in its legal system.

  • To ensure tougher sentences so criminals are not set free to hurt more innocent victims.

  • To end lawsuit abuse and frivolous litigation which hurts New Mexico consumers and taxpayers.

  • To promote economic development by creating a more attractive legal environment for new businesses.

  • To ensure lawsuit abuse does not drive doctors out of New Mexico and further increase the cost of medical care.
